What's New with the CACC?
Welcome to the College Area Community Council (CACC), a membership organization dedicated to serving the residents, students, businesses, and non-profits of our vibrant community. We strive to bring people together, foster connections, and improve the quality of life for everyone in the College Area.
Our mission is multifaceted: we encourage diverse inclusion and social connection among neighbors and families, provide a platform for discussing community issues, initiate and support activities that benefit the community, and facilitate communication between residents and the City of San Diego. Led by a 12-member board, including three at-large directors, we work tirelessly to make the College Area a better place to live, work, and play.
A great community is made up of great neighborhoods. We proudly serve the diverse neighborhoods of Alvarado Estates, Baja Canyon, College View Estates, El Cerrito, Mesa Colony, and The Triangle.
The College Area located in San Diego on Kumeyaay land is bounded by Interstate 8 on the north, Fairmount Avenue and Collwood Boulevard on the west, and 70th and 73rd streets on the east. The north side of El Cajon Boulevard marks its southern boundary. Join us in building a stronger, more connected community!
