WHO WE ARE

The College Area Community Council* (CACC) is made up of residents, business owners, students, and non-profits in the College Area community. Our goal is to improve the quality of life and enhance community pride for the College Area.

Mission:

• Promote social connection among neighbors and families
• Disseminate information and provide a forum for discussion on issues of interest to the community 
• Initiate, organize and support activities that benefit the community
• Facilitate communication between the community and the City of San Diego and other agencies 

Meetings:

The CACC meets every month on the first Tuesday at 5:30pm at the College - Rolando Library

Board of Directors:

The 12-member Board is comprised of three at-large directors, representatives of the College Area Business District, Associated Students of San Diego State University (SDSU), SDSU administration, and representatives from individual community groups within the College Area:

• Alvarado Estates 
• Baja Canyon
• College View Estates
• El Cerrito 
• The College Triangle 
• Mesa Colony

 The College Area boundaries are Interstate 8 on the north, El Cajon Blvd. on the south, the border with the city of La Mesa on the east, and Collwood Blvd. and Fairmont Avenue on the west.
